Love Life Happier was created doing a time in my life when my health was bad do to ulcerative colitis a digestive issue that really affects your quality of life.
I was diagnosed with UC 22 years ago at the young age of 17. At that time I had no idea what ulcerative colitis was and the affects it can have on my life. But after hearing the news at such a young age with my mom standing by my side I knew I was not going to let it control my life. Little did I know the challenges I would be faced with. Although I think my life has been pretty good. I have a beautiful wife with three amazing kids that I thank God for.
As I continued to live life with UC I noticed I began to isolate myself from really living a full life. Not intentionally but UC can have that affect on you that you feel more comfortable staying home and not facing the challenges of being out in public. ulcerative colitis can really put you in some bad spots when out and this is what leads to the isolation. As I slowly begin isolating myself I begin to not really talk about my condition.
Fast forward years later I was faced with colorectal cancer and had to make the decision to have my colon removed and finally free myself from ulcerative colitis. Not an easy decision to make but I had to have surgery and have my colon removed.
But being a believer I knew God loved me and His grace and mercy would keep me.
Doing these times I learned to be optimistic and chose to look at the brighter side of things. I chose to give thanks, count my blessings, and be thankful for what mattered most.
I also made a promise to myself that I would love life happier, give more and live life to the fullest.
Now that I have a new love for life and happiness. I want to share it with the world.
I have always had a passion for designing my own shirts therefore I felt this was my opportunity to connect my passion with the world and to those who want to live a happier life.
That is why I created Love Life Happier Apparel.
Love Life Happier will be donating a portion of the profits made to finding cures for ulcerative colitis and crohns to help improve the quality of life of children and adults who are affect by these conditions.
